To Pray on Time /Salah~Always Comes First/No Excuse for SALAH!!

Verily, all praise is due to Allah,
we praise Him and we seek His aid and we ask His
forgiveness, we seek shelter from the evil of ourselves and from the wickedness of
our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none that can misguide him and
whomsoever Allah sends astray, there is none who can guide him. And I testify that
none is worthy of worship except Allah Alone, without partners and I testify that
Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger.
Certainly, Salah (regular prayer) is the first and most important matter after testimony,
the second pillar and it is the difference between faith and disbelief The Messenger of
Allah said: «Between a person and disbelief is discarding Salah.»1
Salah is our connection to our Lord and our success in the Hereafter depends upon our
performance of it in this world. If we accept this, we must then strive to perform our
Salah in the way which is accepted by Allah, i.e. as the Prophet himself used to
perform them. He said: «Pray as you have seen me performing Salah.»2
Imam Ahmad, doubtless and mindful of the Words of Allah:
(So woe to the worshippers who are careless in the performance of their
prayers.) (Qur'an 107: 4-5)
has dwelt at great length in this treatise on the importance of performing one's Saláh
carefully and correctly, in accordance with the confirmed practices of the Prophet as
narrated in the authentic hadiths.
The treatise was written for the people of a community with whom Imam Ahmad had
prayed a number of times. During his Salah, he noticed that most of them were not
performing Salah properly; indeed, the errors were so serious in some cases, as to
nullify their Salah. The resulting work (treatise) was, and remains, an excellent advice
to all those who fear Allah and hate to incur His displeasure and seek only His
pleasure. May Allah guide us all to His Truth and keep us firm upon the Straight Path:
Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error. Our Lord! Lay not on us a
burden like that which you laid on those before us. Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden
greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins and forgive us. Have mercy on
us. You are our protector. Help us against the disbelieving people.) (Qur'an 2: 286)
 (Sahih Bukhari Hadith) |

A man asked Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) “What kinds of deeds are best in the sight of God?”

    He replied,

    “To pray on time.”

    [Sahih Bukhari]

No Excuse for SALAH!!

The importance of the Prayer in Islam cannot be understated. It is the first pillar of Islam that the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) mentioned after mentioning the testimony of faith, by which one becomes a Muslim. Allah has declared its obligatory status in the Holy Quran many times. Allah says in the Holy Quran:
“Pray to me and I will hear your prayer” Quran (40:60)
In another Verse, Allah says: “Guard strictly the Salah, especially the middle Salah. And stand before Allah with obedience.” Holy Quran (2:238)

When Allah spoke directly to Moses, He said: “And I have chosen you, so listen to that which is inspired to you. Verily, I am Allah! There is none worthy of worship but I, so worship Me and offer prayer perfectly for My remembrance.” (Quran, Surah Taha, 13-14)
If the Prayer is performed properly; with true remembrance of Allah and turning to Him for forgiveness, it will have a lasting effect on the person. Allah says in the Holy Quran about Prayer:
“Verily, the prayer keeps one from the great sins and evil deeds” (Quran 29:45)

The overall affect that the properly performed prayers should have upon a person is described in these verses of the Quran:
“Verily, man was created impatient, irritable when evil touches him and ungenerous when good touches him.  Except for those devoted to prayer those who remain constant in their prayers…” (Quran 70:19-23)
The Prayers were made obligatory upon the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) during his ascension to Heaven. Once a man asked the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) about the most virtuous deed. The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) stated that the most virtuous deed is the Prayer. The man asked again and again. The first three times, the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) again answered, “The prayer,” then on the fourth occasion he stated, “Jihad in the way of Allah.” [Hadith recorded by Ahmad and ibn Hibban]

The importance of Prayer is demonstrated in the many of the Prophet’s statement. The Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The first matter that the slave will be brought to account for on the Day of Judgment is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad.” [Recorded by al-Tabarani. According to al-Albani, it is sahih.]
Salah is a type of purification for a human being. In a Hadith the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said:
“If a person had a stream outside his door and he bathed in it five times a day, do you think he would have any filth left on him?” The people said, “No filth would remain on him whatsoever.” The Prophet (PBUH) then said, “That is like the five daily prayers: Allah wipes away the sins by them.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim)

Salah~Always Comes First

Salah is a basic pillar of islam
It is mentioned again and again in the Quran
The importance of prayer is in seven hundred places
But in the masjid,do you see many young faces?
Praying in the mosque gives 27 times the reward
Pray with the intention that you’re pleasing your Lord
When you walk to the masjid ,just remember within
You gain a reward and you’re losing a sin
For every step towards your destination
This is a blessing from Allah swt to His creation
The Quran has foretold, that before you are dead
‘say your prayers before your prayers are said’
Our prophet (saws) said about those who miss prayer
fifteen punishments they’ll have to bear
six in this life, three on passing away
three in the grave and three on judgement day
For missing Fajr at the start of the day
the glow of the face is taken away
the punishment for missing the Salah of Zohar
there will be no blessing from your income no more
For missing Asr, the middle prayer of the day
the strength of the body is taken away
by missing maghrib, remember one thing
you will not be benefited by your offspring
For missing Ishaa at the end of the day
the peace of your sleep will be taken away
while seeing elders pray at the mosque door
remember as a young person, your reward is 70 times more
Read Salah punctually, read it with care
on judgement day, we will be asked about prayer
that’s the first question, so take this advice
Salah is the key to paradise
Spread this word to muslim sisters and brothers
Salah will separate muslims from others
Salah is a blessing which Allah swt gave
it will intercede and protect us in the grave
When it comes eventually, to the day of rising
the believers body washed by wudu will be shining
for the believers who are regular in offering Salah
it becomes a light of guidance on the pul-siraat
Don’t miss the prayer asr at any cost
it will be like your family and wealth is lost
the ayat-ul-kursi after fard, should be read
it will lead you to paradise (insha Allah) after you’re dead
Not reading Salah will lead you to hell
surrounded by serpants in a deep well
read your Salah whilst still in your prime
and read the durood shareef in your spare time
You’ll get ten rewards, the Lord (insha Allah) will accept your pleas
and you’ll be closer to Allah swt by ten more degrees
so embrace islam with all your heart
and remember the key is reading Salah

My Aim of Sharing this :
To reach the Firdous-Al-Ala (the highest Paradise), insha’Allah- Because
Allah tells us in Sura Al-Muminun:
“Successful indeed are The Believers, Those who humble themselves
in their prayers… These will be the heirs, who will inherit Al Firdous:
They will dwell therein (for ever).” (23:1-11)
Don’t forget to Share this Beautiful poem with your friends to remind them the Importance of Salah. icon smile Salah~Always Comes First
