Dear brothers and sisters !
I have noticed a lot from many brothers here ,
1- if you want to either send , forward , compose any Islamic write up, let's be mindful of the authenticity.( A genuine reliable source)
2- as you are eager to send or forward some message from your wall, the outcome is either you gonna misled someone or you guide them right .but Allah is knowing .
So ,
For whatever message we have or for whatever message we are about to send let's find out its source .
Wallahi I swear by Allah its very important ,
If anyone send a message to you on Islamic matter(s)
First confirm its genuineness , before you forward them or before we begin to act on them for Allah sake .
If you notice the biggest problem from amongst the Sheikh .its one of them .
let's not always jump in on sharing every message that we get from friend or better still if you get a message from a reliable person you can press forward button but let's fear Allah
This week from our group here ......... A brother shared a story titled 18 answers of the prophet and the traveler"
I'm still asking for the source , the sender is muted up till this time ,
Today some brothers shared a message .
Titled : marriage .
Which contain many hadeeths and some of members have been calling for the authenticity
Based on what I have from my system, I was able to explore all the contents in it , which I found 12 kitab(books) difference book , thougHt its contains hadeeths but I haven't done with the authenticity of All the hadeeth in the contents .
The hadeeth qouted in books were found in the books below;
[Bihar al-Anwar, V. 103, P. 220, No. 18]
[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 44448]
[al-Kafi, v. 5, p. 331, no. 2]
[al-Khisal, p. 141, no. 162]
[Makarim al-Akhlaq, v. 1, p. 446, no. 1534]
[irshad al-Qulub, p. 175]
[Tanbih al-Khawatir, v. 2, p. 122]
[al-Mahajjat al-Baydha, v. 3, p. 70]
’[Wasael al-Shi`aah , v. 14, p. 116, no. 1]
’_Although Kans al Ummal is a sunni book.
His quotes are from Bihar Al Anwar. This is not a Sunni book.
These are good ahadith but you need to be careful since there are some ahadith in Bihar Al Anwar that are not authentic.
I think a better thing would be to pick a few hadeeth and show their authenticity so that it will strengthen your argument. Incase
Posting one Sahih or Mutawattir hadith with good translation is better than posting 1000 questionable ones.
For example, in the books I found
17ـ رسولُ اللهِ (صَلَّيَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ وَ آلِهِ): إذا جاءَكُم مَن تَرضَونَ دِينَهُ وأمانَتَهُ يَخطُبُ (إلَيكُم) فَزَوِّجُوهُ ، إن لا تَفعَلُوهُ تَكُن فِتنَةٌ في الأرضِ وفَسادٌ كبيرٌ.
17– The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'When someone comes to you with a proposal and you are well-pleased with his faith and his integrity then accept him in marriage, for if you do not, discord and corruption will prevail in the land.’[bihar al-Anwar, v. 103, p. 372, no. 3]
The wording of this hadith is very strong and if you could prove it to be authentic, it would change the minds and attitudes of many sisters and families here regarding the issue of marriage. The problem is that this hadith is posted without an isnad (chain of transmission). So many here would disregard it right off the bat, even though it might be authentic. Remember, the original poster of that book is a Shia brother , he posted it back in 2011 wallahi I know him , I have known many of those shia blogger since 2009 and you as a sunni Muslim you should know that those shias do not have 'Sahih' and each of the hadith stands on its own merits.
